StoxPlus Continues to Support the 4th Vietnam International Conference in Finance (VICIF)

At the conference, StoxPlus CEO Nguyen Quang Thuan, joining the Special Panel, discussed the topic: “bridging the gap between research and practice”.


The 4th Vietnam International Conference in Finance (VICIF- 2017), co-held by the Vietnam Finance Association International, Foreign Trade University, University of Economics – the University of Danang, and University of Economics and Law, took place at Intercontinental Westlake hotel on June 22-23 with the participation of about 100 economic professors, academia, doctoral students, and professionals and practitioners to share their interests, new research results, and discuss current challenging issues in finance and related topics.At the conference, StoxPlus CEO Nguyen Quang Thuan, joining the Special Panel, discussed the topic: “bridging the gap between research and practice”.

He shared practical insights of the financial markets of Vietnam, potential research topics that StoxPlus has experienced in supporting its customers including academic researchers from a perspective of a Vietnam’s leading firm in data mining and market research services.

StoxPlus is also looking for research interests in building sophisticated models such as Z-Score and M-Score in assessing the likelihood of bankruptcy and earnings manipulation by Vietnamese public companies in Vietnam based on StoxPlus’ core competency of database.

The conference also gets support from Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV); The International Institute for Financial Studies (IIFS); and MB Securities Joint Stock Company (MBS).
